U.S.- ISRAEL ENERGY CENTER FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR U.S.-ISRAEL COOPERATION IN ENERGY AND WATER TECHNOLOGIES
The U.S.-Israel Center of Excellence in Energy, Engineering, and Water Technology (“the Energy Center”) invites proposals from innovative, cross-border consortia aimed at advancing the development and deployment of next-generation energy and water technologies. Established by the BIRD Foundation with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Israel Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoE), and the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA), the Energy Center seeks to foster scientific and industrial collaboration between the two countries, accelerate technology scale-up and commercialization, and enhance energy and water security.
The Call for Proposals invites submissions in the following areas:
Following the evaluation process, two consortia will be selected.
Eligibility: Proposals must be submitted by a U.S.-Israel consortium that includes: ♦ At least one industry partner and one academic or research institution from each country. ♦ The consortium must define founding members who will lead the planning and submission. At least two founding members must be corporations, one from each country.
